The Lafayette Journal-Courier in its last Saturday edition, which usually carries a lot of old pictures from over the state, carried one taken here in 1922. It was the picture The Daily Banner printed at the time a Monon locomotive went through a bridge below Limedale anil each end of the locomotive was resting on the bank at each end of the wrecked bridge. The collection oi Did pictures is from that made by A. D. Bailey, a Lafayette policeman. who makes a business of picking up old and odd pictures from over the county.

Following the ceremony, a breakfast was held in the chapel of the church for - the immediate families. The table was centered with a vase of pink gladioli and white carnations.. In the afternoon a reception was held at tire home of the bride’s parents. Assisting at the reception were. Miss Laurel Reed and Miss Patricia Masten. The reception lable was decorated with a large wedding cake encircled with snrilax and bouquets of pink gladiolo and white carnations. Mr. and Mrs. Smithers will have their honeymoon in Windsor, Canada. For traveling, the bride chose a ‘angerine colored uit with navy and white acces--ories.
