The Woman’s Club of Greencastle held its December meeting at the home of Mrs. George Gove on Wednesday, December 1. at 2 o’clock. The program was in charge of Mrs. Evan Crawley who gave a talk on the origin of Christmas Caroling throughout the world. Five members of the Motet Choir of DePamv University. with Miss Reba Walsh acting as soloist, sang six groups* of carols. Prof. George Gove had arranged the groups and instructed the carolers. The formal portion of the program being completed, the group was then led in singing Christmas carols by Mrs. Roodhouse with Mrs. Mace Aker at the piano. Impromptu solos were sung by Mrs. J. E. Porter, president of tho group, and Mrs. David Scott. The group then adjouri^ed to the dining room where Miss Cuinutt poured at a delicately set t^tble.
