OBITUARY Edward Jasper Fraizer, son of Eh and Carolina Cook Fraizer, was born in Owen county, February 5. 1870. He departed this life, at his home in Cloverdale. March 27. 1954. at the age of 84 years, one month and twenty-two days. At the age of 16 he moved with his parents to Putnam county. On November 2, 1897 he was united in marriage to Hetty Lee Balay of Millgrove. To this union nine children were born. All of their married life was spent in Owen and Putnam counties, moving to their present home in 1939. Mr. Fraizer was a member of the Cloverdale Methodist church and Diamond Lodge No. 349 Knights of Pythias. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Will Fraizer, two sisters, Cora Riter and Emma Jane Query, one daughter, Mrs. Cordia Hoffa, a grandson, Norman Gene Hoffa, who gave his life in World War II, and two gi andchildren who lied in infancy. Surviving are the widow, five (laughters, Mrs. Faith Smiley of Cloverdale, Mrs. Claudy Bandy >f Cataract, Mrs. Vernell Haltom >1 Poland, Mrs. Marjorie Wattie Sharp of Richmond anil Mrs. Virginia Hoffa of Cloverdale; three sons, Woodrow Fraizer of Mt. Meridian, Voshel and Garwood Fraizer of Cloverdale; 18 grandchildren and 20 great gr andchild r en; one brother, Robert Fraizer of Cloverdale; three half-sisters, Mrs. Dovie Chitwood
of Bloomington, Miss Hazel Fraizer of Cloverdale and Miss Mattie Fraizer of Rockville; one step-sister, Mrs. Orie Baldwin of Greencastle; two step-brothers. Walter Sanderson of Poland and Ross Sanderson of Texas, and a number of nieces and nephews.
CARD OF THANKS Fraizer—We shall always remember with deepest gratitude the kindness, sympathy' and many, many lovely floral tributes extended by relatives, friends and neighbors during the illness and passing of our dear husband and father, Edward J. Fraizer. We also wish to thank Dr. Dettloff for his kind and efficient services, the American Legion Auxiliary for the use of the hospital bed. Rev. Gilbert McCammack, the singers and pianist, the K. of P. Lodge No. 349, W. S. C.
