ttasMrttrft iTigptier B.A.R. Ha* Tntere*tttis Heeling The January meeting of Washbum Chapter of D. A R. was Rirusually interesting. The hostess, Mrs. R R. Neal ! had as her assistants the Misses ,\3n Robbins, Jeanette O'Dell and Mayble Wright. Sam Reed spoke in a most in!«cjesting way of experienees in
Korea.
As a supply officer for eoni i' ll action engineers he learned great respect for the unbelievable sturdiness and dependability of these little men. Out of great poverty, hardship and suffering they have carried on in a way ihat does credit to all mankind. Construction out of waste i\it <*riajs such as beer cans and packing boxes has provided much
of their poor shelters.
The intelligence, mechanical ability and honesty of the Korean seems to measure up very well with Americans of equal oppor-
tunity.
