Ttiis column, like everyone Use has an opinion, so we will offei it for your consideration. VV. have hail an open season the.\ear round, for about eight t ears, and records will how that we have had better Blueglll fishing in the last few years than ever before. The liemendoiis rate of increase of the Bluegill makes it necesiy to thin their numbers every year, so that there will be enough food for the survivoi s to grow to desirable size. Which is better, a thousand Bluegill eight inches long, or ten thousand that will measure four Inches? That is about the proportion in a lake that isr’t fished enough, and the ad thing is that those ten thousand Bluegill can never get any larger than four inches . , . What is your opinion ?
