The Golden Circle Club met at the home of Mrs. Lena Trussed on the evening of Nov. 25. As it was I Come As You Are” party much merriment was present as the crowd gathered. The President, Mrs La Rue Gray called the business meeting lo order. Devotions were given by Mrs. Grace Pollom and The Lord's Prayer xvas repeated in uni on Fourteen members answered roll call by giving the name of a famous tree. The secretary's and treasurer's reports were read. The Club agreed to purchase the T. B. bond and no vote taken as this has been the customary proccedui e foi several years. The club members brought a very nice assortment of gifts for a Christmas box to be sent to the tiley Hospital. Another Christikus box of assorted items was purchased by the 'finance committee from the club's treasury. A Parcel Post sale xvas held luring the evening xx-ith Mrs. La Rue Gray and Mis. Bessie Fellows acting as auctioneers. All packages sold to the highest bidier and the club made a nice profit as well as everyone having
fun.
