Wo hear that the beautiful Swan, that adopted the Midwest quarry hole as its summer home, has died. We haven’t heard the cause of its death, but know that many local citizens will miss feeding It. It had become a pet to many people who had fed it at certain hours of the day. and just as sure as the time rolled around for the Swan to be fed at a certain place you could see the lovely bird head for that part of the lake.
