Supper Honors BHS Music Dept. The Bainbridge Band and entire music department were honored with a pitch-in supper in the high school gym Friday evening, March 28. They were accompanied by Miss Bilbo, also of Indiana Central. Mi Harshbargi r, principal, was introduced and he in turn presented the past presidents of tlu- present parents or ganization, the ones lie said who carried the bull while the rest pitched in. They were Cully Price, Mrs. Fred Thralls, Mrs Clifford Early, Frank Smith and the present president, Mrs. Harry Tresner. After an enjoyable talk by Mr. Miller who was introduced by Oral Whitley, Mr. Jones, mus e director, presented pins to the following seniors: Phyllis Beck, Charles Bullerdick, Ernest Eaney, Marjorie Fonner. Paul Barker, a pianist, capably played The Waltz You Saved for Me and Smoke Gets in Your Eyes. Then last but by no means least, Karen, Dearinger played a violin solo, The Merry Widow Waltz, accompanied by Mrs. Balay. After such a pleasant evening it was easy to see as Mr. Smith put it, aetivities of this sort make our* community a better pluee in which to live, a place in which it’s easier to do right and harder to do wrong.
