How would you like to be in the shoes of the Nizam of Hyderabad. who is considered the richest man in the world? Tlie Nizam, who wears a tur-

Seventy wives make him take
after him to them along!

Then picture the Nizam with fifteen women at the breakfast or dinner table in a New Delhi hotel! I love my own wife very lyBut sometimes 1 think that popul.w ditty "Slowpoke" has been written specially for her She will s|>cnd fifteen minutes to look at the breakfast bill of fare. She will figure out whether or not she gels full value when she orders club breakfast oi whether it would be cheaper to order a la carte. She considers every dish on the menu and then invariably oilers scrambled eggs. I Dunk my wife must have eaten scrambled eggs foi breakfast every day of the thirty years we have been married. Tin’ same thing is repeated at

dinner. Especially the desserts. My wife invariably looks at the desserts before she looks at anything else on the menu. She considers gooey Sundaes of all kinds, layer cakes with whipped cream, rich rice puddngs with raisins and cream. But she ALWAYS winds up ordering vanilla ice cream. It's Hie same Uiing when slu goes shopping. I have seen her look ove: a whole counter of hundkerchicfbefore selecting one. And I have seen her take a half hour lo decide between two hats that looked exactly alike to me. Sometimes 1 fly off the handle or at least 1 FEEL like flying off Hie handle. But then I calm down and think ot the chorus of that song: "I guess I’ll have to learn to be u slowpoke, too.”
