Order was called by the president. who turned the meeting over to James Giddings, who introuced Mr Harbison. of the SState Police, who gave a very Interesting talk and showed slides on safety. Devotions were given by Mrs. Copper. A short business meeting was held. This being Dad 1 * night, the entertainment was turned over to the chairman. James Giddings who gave a most interesting program. The meeting was closed by the president. Mrs. Greenlee, reading the P. T. A. preyer.

Mrs. P. R. Christie and Mrs Louella Fry have returned home, from Indianapolis where they spent the past two weeks visiting friends. Mrs. Oscar Thomas who is a patient in the Putnam county Tioapital is recovering very satisfactorily from an operation she underwent last week. Mrs. Andrew Herrick, Bainbridge telephone operator, suffered a heart attack and was taken to the Clinton hospital Monday evening. She was moved to her sons' home at Clinton, Rural Route 2 on Wednesday.

Misses Ruby and Florence Jones of Indianapolis accompanied Prof, and Mrs. P. G. Evans when they left on Tuesday for Mexico and Guatemala. Th-y expect to be gone for about .i 1 ’ days. Mr. and Mrs. John R. Moore of Greencastle R. 3 are the parents of a 7 lb. \ oz.. daughter born Friday, Jan. 25th at 7:40 a m. at the Putnam County hospital. The yo ing lady will answer to the name of Johna Lyn. Mrs. Mooie is the former Jerry Millei Mrs. Elsie O'Conner of Cloverdale. i-- a patient in the Bloomington hospital Mrs. O’Conner is suffering from injuries received when she fell down the stair. at the home of her daughter in Ellettavilie. Her condition was reported Thursday morning as critical. A large delegation from the Greencastle Kiwarns Club were at McCormick's Creek Slate Park on Wednesday evening for a Divisional Inspirational Meeting sponsored by Lt. Governoi Du mm Bucher. John A.
