Mrs. Leonard Schartz. a fireman's wife, looked all over the Bronx for him. hut couldn’t find him. But last month she saw the dog in front of her house and reclaimed him. Mr. Frank H. Schwab, Jr., a health department employe, found out where the dog was and got a summons for Mrs. Schwartz. He said she was unlawfully witholding the dog and he wanted it back. health. So Mrs. Schwartz. Mr. Schwab, and Wag’n, all went to court and left it to Magistrate McGee to decide who the rightful owner was. The judge, in Uie role of Solomon, sat back on the bench and watched the whole business. Mrs. Srhwartz called the dog. He came running to her, wagged his tail and lickeil her face. Mr. Schwab called the dog - only he called him Lad. But apparently that did not make any difference to Wag’n. He came running to him. wagged his tail and licked his face. Then, to make the whole business even more dlffictilt, he came running up to the judge, wagged his tail and started to I lick HIS face, when a bailiff interfered and took him off the judge’s bench. The bailiff, of course, pending the magistrate’s decision, had to hold the dog in his arms, and got HIS face-Hrked. Then came the verdict: "The dog belongs to Mrs. Schwartz. I am sorry for you, Mr. Schwab. But by your own admission you found the dog for which Mrs. Schawtz had taken out a license. You have no legal claim. r
