IN MEMORY
In memory of Ella Wallace, who left us Jan. 7, 1950.
From early morn, till late at
night,
We miss your smiling face so
bright.
God called you home to dwell with him, forever near his throne, he took you from us and left us all alone. O smile upon us from above, ask God to lead us through the walks of life, that we may some day find our way to you. Sadly missed by husband

Gov. Stevenson May Run Again CHICAGO. Jan. 7—(UP) Gov. Adlai Stevenson scheduled an announcement for today or tomorrow amid speculation he would announce his candidacy for re-nomination on the Demo-
cratic ticket.
An aide to Stevenson refused to confirm or deny reports that
too Governor would announce George Wallace and family,
his decision to make the race again. The aide disclosed only
that Stevenson would give a f hies 'ast minvng resources statement late today or totnnr- j P r0f l uc ® two-thirds ol all the rmv ‘ ' minerals that are mined in South

The Chicago Sun-Times re- _________________ ported that Stevenson would definitely be a candidate for renomination in the April primary. Stevenson was in Chicago yesterday for his weekly television
show.
His plans for the announce- | ment came after the Cook county Democratic slatemakers dropped state's attorney John S. Boyle and picked another former municipal judge John J. Gutknerht as the organization’s candidate for Boyle’s post. It has been reported that the Governor was opposed to Boyle’s candidacy although he has said he and Boyle’s were “good friends’’ personally.
