Ladies Auxiliary Held Meeting Wednesday The Ladies of VFW Post 1550 Auxiliary held their regular meeting Wednesday evening at the Post Home During the business si ion the following officers were elected: President, Helen Zeis; senior vice president. Margaret Reeves; junior vice president, Ruth Noel; treasurer, Lucille Maddox; conductress, CuZelta l.rf'ar, chaplain, Kate Houck; guard, Wilma Elrod; three year trustee, Emily Shonkwiler. Mrs. Hutcheson Is Hostess To Club The Twentieth Century Club met at the home of Mrs. Charles Hutcheson with Mrs. Frank Wollung as hostess. Mrs. Ralph West, president, presided at the business meeting. Mrs. Monnett gave the film report as follows: ''Royal Wedding" i Fred Astaire and Winston Churchill’s daughter Sara) and "Pygmalion" (Leslie Howard and Wendy Hiller). The Council of Clubs report was given. For the program Mrs. W. L. Hargrave presented Mrs. T. II. Williams, who gave the club an informative address on "Culture in Immigrant Chests” which is a background for next year's study. Miss Jeanette Odell read two interesting letters from her German friend which the club has helped at various times. During the school hour delicious refreshments were served by the hostesses.
