The Senate continued debate on a 60-day extension with a final vote expected tomorrow or Thursday. Chairman Brent Spence, D., Ky., predicted that his House Banking Committee will approve a 90-day extension through March 31, 1951, as requested by President Truman. Goes To Farm For Holidays INDIANAPOLIS, Dec. 5. (UP) Andrew J. Thomas, 61 was resigned today to spendinc Christmas and New Year's on the Indiana State Farm for peddling bootleg whiskey. Speedway Magistrate Cour' Judge George Ober sentenced Thomas to 30 days yesterday Ober said that liquor which Thomas and four other men sold ilk-gally contained a high per centage of methyl alcohol which may cause blindness. “People who get hold of thi: brand of ‘Christinas Spirits' may uot be able to see their tree on Christinas morning," Ober said.
