The meeting was opened by the president with the group singing the song of the month, "Beautiful Dreamer." Mrs. Elmer Christy song leader also read the origin of the song. The salute to the American and Christian flags were given in unison, fol-, lowed by all repeating the creed in unison. The roll call "a quotation from Lincoln was answered by twentytwo members. Mrs. Nettie Hillis and Mrs. Roxie White of Greencastle and Mrs. Herschel Greenlee of Coateaville were guests. The lesson ''Selection of Patterns” was given by Mrs. Elmer Christy \g;th Mrs. Ernest Miller as her model. She stated to watch to place the pattern on the grain of the material. The more expensive patterns you buy the nicer garment you have. We learn if we are buying a cheaper pattern, the Simplicity pattern is best.
