Friendly Circle Club Held October Meeting The Friendly Circle Club held ts October meeting at the home of Mrs. Jewell Vaughn. The president, Mrs. Paul Albin, opened the meeting ana leu in the club creed. Roll call was an:wered by recalling funny prankMrs. Roy Brackney gave the lesson on “Food for Health.’’ Plans for the achievement day were made. Anyone wanting dinner tickets are to contact Mrs. Paul Albin. Election of officers was held with Mrs. Sterling Boatright, Mrs. Andrew Dickey and Mrs Roy Brackney to be installed in January. The meeting closed with the club prayer. Mrs. Vaughn served colorful refreshments in keeping with the October season. Mrs. Brackney gave contests and a guest. Mrs. Georgia Fisher, entertained at the piano. Mrs. Laura Owen is the hos less next month, instead of as listed in the program.

ALLISON HOME NEWS The boys are busy gathering in vegetables and food products from their summer harvest. Lots of squash for pies have a wedge ? The ping pong table recently has its place ifi the recreation room, which adds to our evening's entertainment. We have a big celebration coming up soon, cake, candles and happy birthday Allan! We were made feel we were special folks last week end by a visit from our college boy, Joseph, of Purdue and whom we ire almost bursting with pride ibout. Joseph has a nice start, 'xith in work and social activitie.md informs us he won't be abl o come home again till Thanks<iving. He is bowed down with studies. Joseph has a nice way with the children here, and is a wonderful example for all and we do appreciate his effort to help us give them that which is most important for their future and may we add very necessary for right noyv.
Mrs. Mildred Harvey, entered a plea of guilty to a petit larceny charge when arraigned in Putnam circuit court Wednesday morning. The affidavit against Mrs. Harvey was signed by Alfred Heavin who operates a filling station and grocery in Fillmore. Upon her plea of guilty, ■budge John H. Alice fined the defendant $1 and costs.
