Those attending F'illmore Christian Church Sunday were privileged to hear some very special music. Rev. George Kendal introduced Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kelly from his home auich in Bellingham, Washingon. Mr. Kelly is traveling ove the country giving Harmon!* concerts. He has harmonicas i all the keys and attachment, which he has invented to furth sr the quality of his music. At .he morning service he gave a jeautiful rendition of "Whisperiig Hope.” with Mi r Raymom Li&by at the piano. The entire evening service was given b .Jr. Kelly. Three numbers great I njoyed were those Rev. Kenda'. sang with harmoniC’a acc.ompani merit. He was once one of the toys in an harmonica banc directed by Mr. Kelly, a free -vili offering is taken at each of these Concerts and the entire proceed are sent back to help finance a Christian Camp for young poopl. in the state of Washington and to provide scholarships to that camp.

Linda Hutcheson Enjoys Party Several little friends gathered at the home of Mr. and Mr.!. Lewis Hutcheson Sunday to help Linda Lou celebrate her first birthday. Little baskets and wagons filled with candy, gum, and ballons were used for favors. They found their names- and took their places at the table. They sang ‘happy bh thday’ and Linda blew out the candles. They were served ice cream and cakke. Then Linda, with a little help opened her many
gifts.
Those attending the party were Wan la Shutes, Amy and Johnny Long, Elmer Jr., Welle Karon and Sharon Seward, Danny, Gordon and Randy Hutcheson, and Mona Ruth Brown. Club Held Regular Meeting The Jefferson Townsmp Home Economies Club held their regular meeting Thursday afternoon, %'pt., 22, at the beautiful new home of Flora Larkin with Mrs. Pearl Hurst and Mrs. Gene Sallust as assistant hostesses. Their president, Mrs. Ketchem gave a report of the last council meeting. Plans were made far an exhibit for Achievement Day to be held at Reelsville, Oct. 28th. Mrs. Ketchem said the Groencastle Chamber of Commerce had asked the cooperation of the home economics club in haying a fall festival. The club was divided into small groups and discussed a program for next years work. A nominating committee was named. The motion was made and carried to buy plates for the school lunch room instead of the project that had been planned. Twenty five members answered roll eall by giving their fa\orite one dish meal recipe. The members were pleased to have Mrs. Benner with them. Other guests were Mrs. Herbert Elmore, Mrs. Rolfs Henkels, an 1 Mrs. Mildred Staley. Mrs. Kenneth Salsman is a new member.
