THE DAILY BANNER, GREtNCASUE, INDIANA, SATURDAY, AUGUST 13, 1949.
OBITl’ABY Gilbert William Dreher, the son of William and Jeretta Treher was born in Owen County, Indiana March 2, l*i«2 and p«»sed away of ft heart ailment at his farm home five mil#* toilth of Reelsville at 2 :KI A M July 21 at the ago of 57 years, 4 months and 18 days. Me resided in this rottiftitlnlty all of his life except for a short tlfne when he was West for Mis health He was a member of the fealties I»dge No, 274 at Braail, Indiana. He worked for a number of years at the cement plant at Greencastle, Ind. He was married to Hernia Ethel Job October 22. 1912 and to this union was born a son, Willard Gilbert of Greencastle. Gilbert was the second child of a family of seven. He leaves two brothers and four sisters; Daniel of Spencer, Hoy of Poland, Henna and Marie of Indianapolis, Be r - tha of Manhattan and Hallie of California. He was a kind and loving husband and father, and bore hi? Suffering patiently and bravely. He leaves to mourn his passing, liis wife Hernia and son Willard daughter-in-law Eleanor and two grand children, Carol Jean and 451an, and a host of friends and relatives. Oh. husband, father and friend We are so heavily laden within, Our grief is more than wc can ten And still we know that all is wel' In mercy has your savior called Stopping your pain for once and all And as we look on you at rest. We truly know "His Will” is best. Death is a change from life To a state of sweet repose, Undisturbed by worldly strife Unaware of its woes. Going at the bid of the Master Why should we feel dismay, With "Him" in the wad to the pasture ? Oh, death is but rest on the way. Well arise at the Shepherd', command To resume, while the angel* play, Ajid enter the gates of the promised land On the Hessurection Day. pd Putnam County Fair Winners Handicr&ft-lVeadleworW Chairman.
