Meanwhile, defense attorney Wayne Collins was expected to conclude his cross-examination of BFI agent Frederrick Tillman. Throughout all-day questionng of Tillman yesterday, Collins attempted to show that Mrs. D’Aquinp was held by the Army for more than a year and then released with consent of the Justice Department, which subsequently turned around and prosecuted her. Charles Rains, upon his return from a trip. Last Saturday night. Dugan Ash, who lives near the church, noticed the lights going on and off. He unscrewed the fuses until services Sunday evening. Rev. Rains was informed oi the unusual situation upon his arrival home and he conducted an investigation. He found that a spider had spun a web across a small spring in the remote control lighting system causing two contact points to touch. Banker To Turn State's Evidence CINCINNATI, O., July 27— • UP)—Dennison Duble, civic and social leader suspected as one of the key figures in a $50,000,000 policy racket swindle, will turn state’s evidence against eastern racketeers who allegedly paid him to juggle Cincinnati Clearing House figures, unconfirmed reports said today. The reports stemmed from the abrupt way in which Duble changed his mind about fighting extradition to New York City. The former secretary of the Cincinnati Clearing House Association will fly to New York this afternoon to “determine the basis of charges" agains' him in the policy swindle. Since his arrest here Monday by Augustus Marchetti, Assistant District Attorney cl New York County. Duble ha.been held incommunicado in i suite of the swank NetherlandsPlaza Hotel. He first agreed to accompany Marchetti to New York but later changed his mind uftei talking to his attorneys. Just a:* abruptly last night he changed his mind again and said he would go. PREDICT BENT SHOW INDIANAPOLIS, July 27 (INS)—Predictions were today hat the August 18 Ton Littci Hog Show at Indianapolis stock yards will be the largest in Indiana history. Ed Miller, extension swine specialist at Purdue, predicted that between 50 and 100 litter: of hogs would be shown at th 12th annual Hoosicr Ton Litte: Show. Johnston, Purdue Extension Publicity director, said: “Indiana for some years has produced the best quality market hogs grown anywhere in the United States.” Johnston said hogs account for almost one third of the Indiana farm income and that from 85 to 90 per cent of the corn crop produced in the state is marketed in the form of j livestock or live stock products.
