Miss Mary Moore has returned home after visiting relatives m Mississippi. Mrs. Myrtle Muhtnix of Terre Haute and Mrs. Irene Hinote spent Tuesday in Indianapolis. Mr. and Mrs. Fisher Austin and sons, Donnie and Konnie rc turned home Monday from a two weeks visit with Mr. and Mr:. Paul Merendino and daughter in Dong Island, New York. Mrs. Merendino was the former Katherine Austin of this city. Mrs. Lillie Stump of Winehester, is visiting her sister, Mrs. Alice Day and family. Mr.s Kdr.a Stanley and Mrs. Vera Hancook of Plainfield ae- ( ompanied Mrs. Stump to Gre\l(astle Tuesday and spent the day with Mrs. Day. The Board of Zoning Appeals of the city, held a hear ing Tuesday evening in the couneil ehamber on the petition of Mrs. C. H. Barnaby to build a garage to the north of her residence, corner Seminary and Taylor Place, and u petition of the Moose i lodge for the erection of an electric sign on their home.
