The combine belonging to Ernest Beavers was burned in a field on the VanHuss farm, on the Coloma road, a mile northwest of Rockville, about 4 o'clock Wednesday afternoon last week. File tank had hem refilled and a lift: ■ gasoline hud slopped over. When the engine was started, a spark caught the excess gas 'Die combine was full of straw and was blazing in a matter of seconds. Frank Morgan, who was operating the combine, had the presence of mind to drive it out of the wheat field and into a clover field where the fire would not spread. He also was able to remove the cap from the gasoiVo tank, preventing an explosion.
