Farm News Wednesday morning Uiirtyscven 4-H boys and girls will leave for Purdue where they will spend three days attending the Purdue Round-up. These boys and girls were chosen by the 4-H Club Counci', after being nominated by their local 4-H leaders. They were chosen as outstanding members with good records that they kept on their projects. “Putnam county farmers will have a chance to see first hand Purdue's results in soil conservation experiments on June 30, ’ County Agricultural Agent K. W. Harris said today. The occasion will be the Soil Conservation field day at the Throckmorton farm eight miles south of Lafayette on State Road 43. “Several watersheds have been farmed under strict conservation practices and farmers will have an opportunity to sec for themselves the results," declared Mr. Harris.
