Mr. and Mrs. Lcland Moore of Greencastle, are the parents of a son born Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Summers ! of Quincy, are the parents of a 1 daugnter born Wednesday. Mr. atnl Mrs. Russell Buis of i Greencastle, are the parents of a daughter born Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Eaton Cooper and 1 children of Roachdale, have returned from a two weeks vacation in Florida. Rev. Ida R. Adkins has returned home after visiting her sister, Mrs. W. Overstreet of Marshall and her son. Raymond and family at Indianapolis. Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha Goss, sister bf Mrs. Inez Moore and Edgar Carlin of this city, will be held Thursday afternoon at 3 o’clock from the Thomas Funeral Home In Terre Haute. Burial will be in the the Rose Lawn cemetery. The flower garden of Mrs. R E. Richards, E. Franklin St., is now the mecca of flower lovers. It is especially notable for th. display of the large number of the best of modern iris, which are a revelation to many. The bloom is now at peak and visitors are welcome. Miss Gladys Sutherlin, former Roarhdale Primary teacher, will hold a six weeks kindergarten course sponsored by the Delta Theta Tau Sorority, in the Roachdale school building, beginning June 6th. Lucille Skelton and son, Jimmy, arrived home from Camp Lee. ^ irginia. Tuesday afternoon. They were there to visit Pvt. Jesse L. Ellis Jr. and while there they all drove to Washington D. C., Arlington Cenetery and Mt. Vernon. Pvt. Elfis will graduate from supply school next Friday.
SOCIETY >lr. and Mn». L. L. Keller Observe 50th Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Keller will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary at their home in Jefferson township on Sunday. May 22nd. Mrs. Keller is the daughter of the late Samuel and Amanda Hurst Adams and Mr. Keller is the son of the late William and Sarah Brinton Keller. Mr. and Mrs. Keller were married May 20. 1899 by the late Rev. T. C. Vaughn at his home just nortn if Belle Union. They have eight living children, fifteen grandchilJien and six great grandchildren.
