Helen Elrod Hostess To Club Forty Eight The Club Forty Eight met at the home of Helen Elrod on March 30th. Eleven members answered roll call by telling their favorite radio program. An election of officers was held to take office in May. They are as follows: President, Helen Elrod; vice president. Juanita Orr: secretary and treasurer, Lillian Arnold. Each member drew for a month to entertain the club. Lillian Arnold and Juanita Orr conducted contests. Prizes were ■von by Nellie Hurst, Lois Alice and Dotty Staley. This writer visited the water works his week to make a survey of the condition- regarding sucker fishing there, u n<l came away the winner. I had only been there three minutes, when I caught a M-cker weighing three pounds. The secret of the deal uas that my old friend Biddy Lana had caught several whoppers, and seeing the hungry look on my face, he tossed one to me, and I eaught it. Thanks, Biddy.
