S DIE LN FIRE KANSAS CITY. Mo . Feb 2 — (LI?) A mother and her two children died today in an apartment house fire as firemen rescued 12 other residents of the building by ladder. The victims were Mrs. Dorothy Eecklean. 26. and her children, Lois Susan. 3 and Mary 2. Thirty-one other resident* escaped but 12 of them were trapped on the top floor of the two story building until aided by firemen. District Fire Chief Al Wahlin said Mrs. Beckteen and her children were asleep in a rear second floor apartment.
