A Century of Progress
AND WE PAY THIS TRIBUTE TO THE
CITY of GREENCASTLE
Customs and styles have chang-ed over the fiftyeitrht years since Gi-eencastle's oldest retail establishment was founded by James Cannon and Drew Alspaugb. Higrh button shoes, tall stiff collars, and skir tight trousei-s have given way to the more cdmfortable clothing worn by the men of Greencastle and Putnam County today. *
Though styles and customs have changed, J. F. ( annon Co. has adhered to the principles on which the business was founded. The confidence which has beer, nlaced in us by the citizens of our community is testi mony to the fact that C annon’s has always dealt fairly with the good jjeople it has served over the years.
The intervening one hundred years since Green castle was incorporated has seen our city become a bette'

place in which to live. Greencastle has prospered due to the faith of its citizens. The J. F. Cannon Co., has been successful by reason of the same faith in which the citizens of the community has placed in it. We arc* proud of our wonderful city, and truly grateful for the goodwill of the people of Greencastle.
