What with company and fishing, I had gotten behind in willing my Christmas greetings so I spent hours last week trying j to get them into the mail. I had just finished by ironing on Thursday when who should drive in hut Arthur ami Laura Glitz i my next door neighbors at home). I was so glad to see them, but the lirst thing 1 noticed was that Laura had lost her summer’s coat of tan I told h r she’d regain it if she stayed out In our Florida sunshine a bit. I think I hold you last year how much I liked it down hero and I like it even better this
year.
Oh, I mustn’t forget to tell you about our Christmas party. We met with Joe and Rubv Williams for they have the most room. He had turkey (and : was good too) and everything that goes with it plus a lot of extras I think. We had a tree and a gift exchange that afternoon. We played games aft : dinner and took a lot of pictures, then had supper and when all left we didn’t feel as if we woul i ever need any food again. Ruby makes a wonderful hostess on any occasion, and this time she and Joe surely gave us all a royal welcome anil helped to make the day one long to be remembered. On this Christmas Day we were not “strangers in a strange land" for we were among our own friends. You have often heard of southern t.ospitalnty, haven’t you? Well, northern hospitality in Florida
is nice, too.
This letter would not he cci.iplete if I failed to tell you how much fun Clift has had fish ng
