(UPI State police predicted today that some 40 persons might be killed in Indiana traffic accidents during the Christmas-New Year holiday period “unless merry-makers take extra precautions on holiday trips.’’ Robert Rossow, state- police superintendent, said that 1948 fatalities probably would exec - l last year’s.
