Do You Have Noisy Neighbors?

A lot of Ihe neighbors were suddenly annoyed by .leb Crowell's hammering at night. Jeb was building himself a new front porch—and the only lime that he could give to il was after sundown. Finally we deckled the best thing to do was all pitch in and help—■ ami get the carpentry over with as soon as possible. We did. Finished the porch next evening and Jeb gratefully treated us to ice cold beer and cider. From whore I sit, that’s what being a good neighbor means. In-

stead of (innplaining about the other fellow’s habilx, try to understand and share his interests. So if my practising on the (lute | annoys you, come on over, neigh- ! bor, with your fiddle or guitar and J join me! Maybe it will end up in i our knowing and appreciating one i another better ... in an evening of good fellowship. And I'll promise to provide the beer that yois with evenings of good fellowship!
