Last night was Everett Gooch night at the Robe-Ann park as the local softball fans showed | their appreciation for his fine job of keeping the park in fine! condition and the ball diamond | in splendid shape for all ball | games. j The presentation was madej just before the start of the gain' ] as Hal Hickman walked otitj from the press box and asked] for Mr. Gooch to come forward, j Mr. Hickman said that Mr Gooch had taken such excellent j rare of the diamond, that many visiting teams had said it to be I the best ball diamond that they had ever played on.
