Coach Bob Nipper has been drilling his DePauw University football eleven extensively on a passing attack which he hopes will halt the Dipman-to-Addison coinbinaton which has carried the Oberlin Yeomen through theirj current season. Oberlin will be at Greencastle for the DePauw homecoming Saturday. Last week the Tigers very effectively halted the Earlham passing- game and celebrated the return of their running ace, Bobby Babcock, by downing the Quakers L'l-6 DePauw will be playing before a capacity homecoming crowd Saturday and team spirit is at its peak. Coach Nipper, in naming his starting lineup for Saturday's game, emphasized the fact that there may be many changes bei'oie game time should the weather remain bad. ''Nip’’ hasn't start<yl the same eleven men in any two games this season and in tile final two games he hopes to groom many underclassmen for next year’s team.. Starting at ends will be Clint Bostic and Dick Coffey; at tackle, Pick Filer and Don Montgomery; at guard, Bud Wright and Jini Little; at center, Ike Isenbarger. In the backfield Coach Nipper will stick with the quartet that; was effective in defeating Earl- j ham last week. At quarterback A1 Piquette will pilot the Tiger squad. Halfbacks Babcock and Bob Ogden will furnish the speed 1 in the machine and fullback Bill Bromer will be on hand for the* plunging assignments again this)
week.
