Bingham, Indiana Democratic state vicechairman, attacked the “dangiious" apathy of voters in a blast ainjeci also at the Republic can party. Mrs Bingham ,ln aa article in the current issue of the Democratic Digest magazine, assert-

ed :

I “Everyone who has analyzed political trends in thrs eongres- ! sional campaign year of 1946 ha; declared that there is a grave, an even dangerous, apathy on . the part of all the voters. But unless the voters are aroused now, they may awake to find that they have let slip their very means of salvation. The world peace of which they have dream- ( ed would be hopelessly jeopardized by allowing a nationalistic, islation Republican congress to

take over.”
