ast wf.ek I woke up to the fact that I was carrying suit do ikt cent enough insurance on my house. If your house burned tonight, would you want enough insur nnec money to rebuild only’ about two fifths of it? Don’t kid yourself about this discrepancy. Ask a contractor

to give you a rough idea as to what he’d charge you to rebuild

You’ll gel an answer which will probably shock you int'

upping your insurance.

It is utterly ridiculous to carry too little insurance, because in my opinion, fire insurance is one thing in this country that is ilir I cheap today. (The avera/fe cost has gone down 40 /rcr cern

in 30 years.)

What I say about home insurance applies to furnishin too

Also to business property. Replacement values her hnve skyrocketed in recent years but many’ asleep with their same old pre-war insurance coverage.

Holland a long happy life
