Christmas Shopping
During the past few years, because of war time conditions, Greencastle merchants have asked their customers to do their Christmas shopping early, We deeply appreciate their splendid cooperation, This year, even though the wai is over, it is again necessary for us to make this appeal. It is predicted that this will be one of the busiest Christmas seasons ever. This is based on many factors •• but primarily on the fact that people are rejoicing - many families are re-united or soon will be. There is a greater incentive to give gifts. This will result in more gifts being bought by more people. In the field of retailing there is still a manpower shortage. Merchants are making every effort to secure the Help needed to meet the demands of the season. Ey shopping early though, you will relieve the extra burden placed on the clerks in the stores and will benefit in better service.
The Post Office Department too, will again be confronted with the need of having your help, The post office has made an appeal for Christmas parcels to be mailed early this year. SO...START HOW...AND BUY SOME GIFT EVERY WEEK!
