Martin and County Superintendent Frank Jarrell with a luncheon at Cafe Royall at noon Thursday. The table was decorated with a center piece in keepi'ig with Christmas and green and red candles. The luncheon

consisted of ham with raisin sauce, mashed potatoes, peas and ’arrots, spring salad, apricot pie and ice cream, hot rolls and coffee. The teachers presented Mr. and Mrs. Martin with an occasional chair as a Christmas gift.

A pitch in dinner was served at noon Friday at the Clinton Center high school by the teachers and parents in honor of the basketball team. Following th? 1 ountlful dinner a program was given, sponsored by Mrs. Mary tellers. The children had an exchange of gifts and were then dismissed for their holiday vacation.

Filmore Club Met Wednesday Fillmore Service Club met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter W’light in Fillmore Wednesday for an all day meeting. The husbands of the members were invited as it was the annual Christmas meeting. Owing to icy roads and sickness only seven members and their husbands were present. Three invited guests were Mr. and Mrs. Claud Crosby and Mrs. Alice Minter. At noon a bountiful dinner was enjoyed by all. A good program was given in the afternoon consisting of games and a reading by Miss Mary Burks. An exchange of gifts was held which all enjoyed. As this was guest day (no business meeting was held. All left thanking Mr. and Mrs. Wright for entertaining them so well.
