Blessing in the practice of law. In 1930 he was elected judge of the Hendricks circuit court and served for six years. After retiring from tne bench he was
appointed first assistant attorney general of the state, and served in that capacity for twoj years. While holding the position he was elected judge of the Indiana Appellate court for a term of four years. Gov. The meeting opened ioy ringing America, after which Mrs. Clara Rader read the 62nd Psalm. Silent Night was then rung by the group and ten mem- . hers and two guests answered roll call. Several children were
also present.
, A short business meeting was held and Mrs. Mable Covert presented an article entitled “Education and Cultivation” from the Methodist Woman. “God Be With You Till We Meet Again” was sung and the meeting disn.issed with prayer by Mrs. Grace Walts. During the social hour there was a gift exchange and two contests presented by the hostess were won by Mrs. Mamie Chadd and Mrs. Irene Clark. Dainty refreshments
