Sims, son of Mr. George Sims, Greencastle, Ind., currently Is assigned to an officers' maintenance engineering course at this station of the AAF Training Command. Capt. Sims is a veteran pilot and has seen service in the African, Italian and Mediterranen theaters of operations. He has earned the Air Medal with seven oak leaf clusters. The course here In engineering lasts five months and covers all phases of aircraft maintenance. Upon graduation, Capt. Sims will maintain his flying status and have the additional qualfication of engineering officer.
