After a delightful evening spent together the class adjourned to meet in November with Mr. and Mrs. Alva Dishy near Coatesville. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Shuck very quietly observed their 56th wedding anniversary Nov. 1.

Hawks Defeated By Bees, 30-23 Russellville had to come from behind Friday night on their home floui to defeat their old county high senool rival, the Roachdale Hawks, jA-23 in the first basketball till of the season for bo til teams. The Hawks held a 12 to 6 advantage over the Bees at the half, due mostly to the 6 field goals registsred by Hutchings, veteran forward. He also dropped in 6 free throws for a

total of 18 points.

Russellville, led by Perry, forward and Clodfeltei, guard, kept plugging away and finally forged into th. lead and went on to win the contest. In a curtain raiser, the Russellville reserves downed the Roachdale
