east oreem asti.k twp. On Saturday night Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Lisby attended the welding of Pvt. Arthur Cash and Miss Imogen,. Phillips both of near Greencastle. The ceremony was held at the Greencastle Christian church Pvt. Cash has been in an army hospital in Ohio. On Sunday afternoon the Lisbys attended the wedding of Nathaniel Macy of Greencastle and Miss Carol Cash of near Greencastle, which was also held at the Greeneast!e Christian church. Pvt. Cash and his sister. Mrs. Macy, are nephew and niece of Mr. and Mrs. Lisby. On Wednesday of last week Mrs. A. B. Hubbard of Fillmore was an all day visitor of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Put sell. Mr. and Mrs. William Arnold spent Sunday with the latter’s sister, Mrs. Artie Boswell and family of Carpentersville. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Pursell and children attended a family gathering at the home of the latter’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Booher of near Bainbridge on Sunday. The occasion was in honor of Mr. Booher who celebrated his 70th birthday anniversary on that day.
