(UP)—The third German flying bomb attack ■against southern England and the London area since Saturday morning was launched early today, causing damage and some casualties. Charles Phillips of Camp Barkley, Texas, is visiting his parents and other relatives near Belle t’nion. Lyman A. Berkley, 27. Rt. 4, In ncastle, Ind.. is receiving his initial Naval indoctrination at the If. B. Naval Training Center, Great Lakes, Illinois. His recruit training consists of inunction in seamanship, military drill, and general Naval procedure. During this period a series of aptitude tests will lie taken by the remit to determine whether he will be assigned to a Naval Service School or to immediate duty at sea. When his recruit training is completed, the seaman will receive a period of leave.
