Meditation is that which makes the Word full of life and energy to our souls. As the beasts came into Noah's Aik they came in unclean and they went out unclean.. or serve them.”

So if the right use of “a graven thing or a likeness of anything" is lamning, then my critic’s bronze Mercury, his marble Washington, his silver-framed family group, will send dim to hell along with me. “Thou shall not adore them or serve them.” Surely, these are the words that give completeness and true meaning to God’s law. So says my common sense. So says the Catholic church. And because I do not adore or serve my crucifix, I shall with free conscience keep it hanging

there on the wall.

I am grateful to my church for its wise, reasonable and infallible interpretations of God’s truths. I thank
