The Valparaiso University Crusaders, pictured above, will appear here Tuesday evening, at Bowman gym, to battle Lt. Everett N. Case’s V-5 Naval Flight School cadets. Valpo is one of the top ranking ball clubs in thv country, a.nd boast the tallest college quintet in America, their starting lineup averaging 6’ 6” in height. The local cadets are out to give Valpo a real battle, and the largest crowd of the season is expected to bo on hand. Adult tickets are now on sale at Sam Ha.nna’s Book Store. On January 12th, the cadets lost to Valpo on the upstate court, 47-.'J5, but were without the services of Aviation Cadet Bob Cook, Who was out with a badly sprained ankle. How to combat the extreme height of thv visitors is the big problem confronting Lieut. Everett Case and the V-5 cadets. Foremost among the visiting giraffe legion are 6' 10’ Captain Don Warnkc, guard, who is adept at knocking down shots near the goal, and 6’ 9” Milt Schoon, center who has amazing co-ordination for one so lanky. Other starting men include 6 3" forward Bob Dille who is leading all Intercollegiate scorers in the state. Dille scored 28 points against DePaul of Chicago, and 21 points against the cadvts. 6 4" Albert Schmidt, and a new-comer 6’ 3” John Janisch gives the Valpos a starting lineup that averages 6’ 6” in height.
