CROWING ROOSTERS BANNED GLENDALE, Cal. (UP)—It took the city council just one month of argument and legal research to draw j up a water-tight ordinance banning j crowing roosters from the city. The ordinance is so strict, it is believed not even a crowing hen can get by its terms. It outlaws "any rooster, animal or fowl that makes any sound crow or cry that disturbs the peace of any .neighborhood.” Penalties are provided for persons involved in a violation, but no provision is made for the rooster.
