Washington Wins From Tiger Cubs Washington's state champions stopped the Greencastle high school basketball team by a score of 37 t 24 Friday night down on the Hatchet's home floor. The margin of victory fer Marion Crawley's netters was 13 points and yesterday was Friday the 13th so what could you expect. Seriously though, the Cubs played i pretty good brand of basketball in com|>eting against one of the strong•st. if not the best hardwood court aggregation in Indiana. The half score was 19 to 11, and the tilt was interesting and hard fought from the initial toss-up to the final gun. Goodman came through with a total >f 11 points to lead the local ffensivc. Harmon, with his tip-ir field goals, was the main cog in Washington success. Tues lay the Tiger Cubs travel t Brazil and then conclude the season against the Columbus Bulldogs at i the Greencastle gym next Friday ‘■ight.
