On Wednesday, January 21st, the Friendship Home Economics Club met for a pitch-in dinner at the home f Mrs. Elizabeth McCullough on Berry street. The day was spent sewing for the Red Cross and tacking i comfort. Fourteen members and one guest, Miss Mary Lou Schott, were in attendance. The next regular meeting will be held February 11th at Mrs. Garrett’s, with Mrs. Florence Baldwin as hostess.

After njoying a delicious luncheon the group cut and sewed bed jackets for the Red Cross. Last year the Thursday Social Club made 17 bed jackets, 24 operating gowns, 21 layettes and 8 dresses for the Red Cross. This year their aim is much higher. Those present were Mrs. John Gray. Mrs. Claude Silkwood, Mrs. Albert Ellis. Mrs. Louis Cohen, Mrs. Glenn Rowland, Mrs. Lillie Cohen, Mrs. Vern Bowers. Mrs. Rex Thompson, Mrs. Cecil Cooprider and Mrs. C. B.
