Their ent-staimnent. it i said, will have a “V for Victory” for

Archie Chadd is a former Bain bridge boy and a large delegation o, folks from his hone community ar. exacted to witness the tilt. Andet son always has a good team and. thi Tiger Cubs will have to but fort! their best efforts to win from the in

DePauw’s basketeers found the University of Louisville squad a stubborn opponent last night over at Bowman gym. but the Tigers spurted in the latter part of the fray to defeat the visitors. 41 to 35. DePauw got away to a nice start, running the count 8 to 2. The quarter ended with the Hgers leading 11 to 6. In the second quarter Louisville hit its stride, and. using set shots and counting on all free throws, caught the Tigers at 14-all and went ahead. 17 to 14 before Don Jones md Wally Etcheson brought DePauw into a one-point lead at the half which ended 18 to 17. In the third quarter neither team scored heavily, DePauw seeing four-point lead of 24 to 20 fade into i one-point lead tor Louisville at 25 to 24. In the final period DePauw spurted and ran 10 points before Louisville scored again and the Tigris were comfortably ahead throughout the remainder of the game.
