Voneastle The world’s most closely guarded military secret, the United States Army's famous Norden bomb-sight, was the ■-.spiration for Paramount's latest thrill rama of the air, "Flying Blind," which opens tonight at the Voneastle Theatre. Theft of the Non en sight, experts agree, would bo the greatest possible <x up > i foreign spy: Yet, say th same experts, the job would be as difficult as siriting away the Washington Monument or the British crown jewels. "Flying Blind,” which centers around the romance of Richard Alien and lovely Jean Parker, is the third of a si "ies of Paramount aviaation films dedicated to National Defense. Chateau Whothoi yru like comedy or drama classical music or “jitterbug,” suspenseful action or romance, you will find your favorite theme in "They Meet Again,” the sixth of the "Dr. Christian ' pictures, starring Jean Hersholt, which opens tonight at the Chateau Theatre. The StephensLang Production contains all the elements of good entertainment to satisfy the most critical moviegoer. This is a gin nd picture. Jean Hersholt again portrays the lovable country doctor with an opprtunity to display his great talent as a dramatic actor. Hersholt tops himself with a portrayal that ranges from comedy to intensely auspanseful drama. v •> 4* 4* + * ♦ + + ^ * BARNARD y*. -1- 4* ■:* 4* •)• + 4" 4- + {5} Mrs. Andrew Minnick living on the Roy Smythe fami south cf here

day and he tells us he will have I three guards and two forwards in his starting lineup. We asked him what about the center position? H" ! replied that one of the boys would jump at the pivot spot, but that b:th on offense ano. defense, his team will be three guards and two
forwards.
There is a good reason for this. In the first place, there is not a Tiger Cub lanky enough to be ovei six feet tall. In fact, the local high school squad will only average 5 feet, 10 inches, in heighth With the toughest schedule in the history of the school ahead of them, the outlook for the Cubs is not so good in regards to size, but we believe that the boys will make up in speed and gcod physical condition theii lacicing for several six-footers. According t! Elson, his charges are in swell shape, all of them having worked, hard the past summer ct jobs which developed their stamnio
and wind, such as hauling ice, $ p # rn _—Etiel’s vs. University farming an I railroading. Thursday When we inquired what hi s start- 7;3 o p . m.-Kroger's vs. Zinc B
ing lineup would be Saturday night. Elson gunned and repeated that it would be “three guards and two forwards. ' Finally, after much questioning and discussion, he said that Grimes and Westfall would bo the forwards for the initial whistle. Bills and York will also get first call at the guard berths. The fifth boy to be on the floor for the opening toss-up will be picked from this trio—Huestis, guard; Conrad, forward, and Goodman, guard. You can easily see that Greencastle does
not have a center!
The first four boys named by Elson are seniors, as are Huestis and Goodman. Conrad is a junior.
A curtain raiser is planned at 7 p. m. between the "B" teams of the two schools. Boys on the reserve squad who are showing promise arc Hoffman, Knauer, Foxx, Vanland-
ingham and Bowk.
Of course, the Greencastle high school band will be present to provide plenty of music for the occa-
sion.
Coach Elson also called attention to the fact that season tickets this winter will mean that the purchaser has a reserved seat for each home contest, besides saving a $1.15 in the deal. Choice seats are beginning to move, so you fans who want on the 50-yard line (pardon us) had better get your season ducats
right away.

Jj/ien ft/Z rff/Z /or fZtr ZrAf, il l ft Zar/^e ow/or America always makes up its mind about quality slowly and carefully. But, once it is certain that a product is the best of its kind, America quickly demands its production on a tremendous scale.
With more Budweiser than ever before, there has not been enough to go Vound
Never before in history has there been a situation like this: A vast expansion program carried on for eight years made it possible for the world's largest brewery to produce more beer in 1941 than ever before has come from a single brewery or group of breweries operating under one management — and yet it was impossible for us to fill all orders. Such a demand, previously unheard of for any similar product, made it difficult to maintain adequate distribution in all of the
48 states at all times. Through it all, our dealers have shown great patience'and for this we are grateful. America prefers Budweiser. Your own preference for Budweiser is a compliment to your own good taste — proof that you recognize the outstanding quality that has made Budweiser the biggest-selling beer in history. With the completion of our expansion program, we trust that you now are getting Budweiser whenever you call for it.
