DePauw’s football team traveled to Oberlin, Ohio, Saturday and took a homecoming contest from the Buckeye squad, 6 to 0, as result of a lone touchdown in the third quarter. Mike Milenki, senior DePauw halfback from Hebron, Ind., who earliei in the game had injured his knee came back to dash 50 yards in the third period to set the stage for the winning tally. i Taking the ball on their down 12yard line, the Tigers had advanced to their 46. There Milenki broke through tackle and zig-zagged down the field to the Oberlin four. Blocked by the Oberlin safety man, Will Dipman, Milenki lateralled to Dick McCally, substitute DePauw guard, who fell over the goal line. Reagan’s kick was blocked by Cooley, Oberlin
center.
DePauw threatened the Oberlin goal line several times in the first period and almost scored on a long pass but it was touched by an ineligible receiver. Oberlin pushed it way deep into DePauw territory several times but was unable to reach pay dirt. One Oberlin threat was stopped on fourth j down on the DePauw seven-yard j stripe and three other times the Tig- : ers stopped advances within the 20-1 yard line. The game was t arranged between j the schools last Saturday after; Swarthmore had cancelled its ap-1 pearance because of infantile paralysis. Coaches Gaumy Neal of DePauw and Coach Lysle Butler of Oberlin had exchanged basic forma- I tions in preparation for the game. j
