The varsity will hi made up of Ed York, Firman Grimes Boh Bills, Jim Westfall, Kenneth Si ! dons, Lloyd Slavons, Richard Houck Don Gooi.man. Frank Heustis, Clif ford Hanlon, and Jim Conrad. Witt the exception of Siddons and West fall these boys lack a lot of height but what they lack in height, most of them make up in ruggedness cc,n iition, enthusiasm, and speed These boys have one of the tough est schedules to play that Greencastl has had in the last few years anc accotding to some opinions th< toughest they have ever hao t< play. Greencastle has always likec them tough and for that reason the boys and fans are looking forwart to a very enjoyable season. TEAM WON CLOSE RACE Last Saturday at Terre Haute Coach L. H Turk's harriers defeated Indiana State by the narrowest cf margins, 27-28. The meet which was held over a course of a little hotter than three and a half miles was won by Halt cf Indiana State. His time was 21-37. Martin finished second to make it first and second for Indiana State. Stewart led the DePauw thinly clads for the second straight week when he placed thin!. Benson and Waiting then took fourth and fifth respectively for DePauw. Paloney of Indiana State finished) si x th. Taylor and Seifert cinched! meet by finishing seventh and eighth respectively, ahead of Stalcup an Goldman of Indiana State.
