GIN MOUNT ACCEPTED
Lai PORTE, Ind., Sept. 18 (UP) The fust 90 millimeter anti-aircran gun mount to come from private in dustry and produced by the LaForh plant of the Allis-Chalmers Co., to day was on its way to the AbertKproving grounds in Maryland. The gun mount was formally delivered to the army yesterday in ceremonies attended by high army state and company officials. It wa' accepted by Col. Donald Annstrong executive officer of the Chieagi ordnance district. Completion of the gun mount marked the beginning of large seal production, but these figures were withheld. WEATHER ’TIL SATURDAY Temperature will average near normal in Minnesota and northern Wisconsin, above normal remainder of district.
